Practical walkthrough. Do this, then this, then this.

▸ Tested on: Reaper 7.35 · macOS 14.6 · M2 Pro · buffer 256

Step 1: Get the installer

Grab the installer from the developer or a directory like PluginGrab that mirrors the official download.

Step 2: Install to your VST folder

Modern DAWs read from C:/Program Files/Common Files/VST3 on Windows and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 on macOS.

Step 3: Rescan plugins

In your DAW's plugin manager, hit rescan. The new plugin appears within seconds.

Step 4: Enable and load

Tick the plugin as enabled if your DAW hides new plugins by default. Drag it onto a channel or bus.

Step 5: Sanity check

Play a note or start a loop. If silent, check routing, plugin auth prompt, and DAW audio driver.

Common issues

Plugin does not appear after scan: confirm the .vst3 lives in a scanned folder. Rescan.

Plugin crashes on load: update the DAW and the plugin. Restart.

Loads but silent: nine times out of ten an authorisation dialog is hidden behind the DAW window.
